Awe!  Those golden moments of thy ecstasy!

    Oft times you wonder where this search will lead you to! 

And oft times you hear His flute in the fancy land of your Divine Imagination

as it captures you in an endless joy, resounding, echoing through the vast hall 

of limitless space in an eternity of time ~ from deep within your being.

    That being which is so very much my own, once lost to my sight since ages,

concealed awhile, yet seems to me revealed in the sunshine of my Divine Friend's

sweetest smile!

     As I breathe in the fragrant air of Brij, this land of Sri Vrindavan ~ makes me

remember His meeting. These eyes silently spy across the fields to yonder 

Nandagaon, Barsana, Govardhan, and once again I am lost in the reverie of feeling melancholy as I contemplate the ages old longing of each human heart! 

 ~ Just now the sun was sinking and the last hue of it's golden splendour still lingers on in my closed eyes.

    And the moving wheels roll on and on into the night ~

   Thus we live in that constant Divine Joy which unites all hearts.
In this joy of one's heart one discovers the soul which is Bliss Eternal!
Saints tell us that in the heart one beholds the Soul which is but the
Reflection of God - the Spirit Absolute!
      Christ says: "The pure in heart shall see God!" which indeed means that
those who take to the Life at Heart in the Love of God shall see the heart
pure as it truly is and thus they behold the Self dwelling there as the Soul!
      But when man forgets his Life at Heart ~~~ that keeps man away from
the heart, in the darkness of his physical and mental attachments and
therefore he is 'impure', being blinded by the false light and delights of this
world!  Yet in the sweet Remembrance of Lord's sacred Name, man's
attention draws within.
      While tasting the most subtle joys of such inward communion in the very
center of one's being - the heart stands revealed. The great mysteries of the
heart unfold themselves to the earnest seeker of spirituality- God is being
experienced and also seen!

Regarding the question 
                        of Swamiji's address:
     Very glad to hear that you read the blog!
 There is this very persistent urge these days
to keep on writing this blog at the least until
all the beautiful pix and letters and other
precious spiritual info that may be shared is
put into it, and even then to share whatever
can deeply inspire souls.
     I can feel your sincere hearts!
     The question has been asked several times
regarding Swami Jnanandaji's address
since the blog started and I have asked Pujya
Swamiji before.  He has always said several
wonderful things regarding this question.
      Once he said anyone who reads about him
in the blog has already met him!
      Another time he has said that to read his book,
Transcendent Journey,  is an initiation in itself! 
      So far he does not want his address to be
given out to anyone over the Internet. 
     He lives an extremely quiet life,  walks eight miles
in the forest natural gardens alone everyday,
sings and speaks with devotees after sunsets,
and lives in the land of Bliss and Pure Joy!

     "Yes, I walk daily into the nearby forest and back, it's about 10 kms, very
beautiful! There is a security guard at the entrance. I talk to the trees and
steal flowers that fall from them on the ground. People must think I'm mad!
( and he laughs!) One has to be a little mad otherwise it's a bit tough.  I'm
also a security guard, a spiritual security guard!"
    "I always remember the words of Mikhail Naimy in

         'The Book of Mirdad':

'Forgetting the world makes you a pilgrim.
Forgetting the next world makes you a saint.
Forgetting forgetting makes you complete.'

what you say. And so, in truth, it is.
Do as if your every deed were to recoil upon your heads.
                                                                                 And so, in truth it does.
So, wish as if you were the wish.  And so, in truth, you are.
So live as if your God Himself had need of you His life to live.

    Swamiji said this when I spoke about the book and the people who asked
how they could get it...
    'Transcendent Journey', the Autobiography of Swami Jnanananda Giri 
may be had now only by Swamiji Himself when meeting him, as a prasad,
this too, at His own discretion.  ~*~

     Swamiji also said, "As a child I used to read the family Bible that had been in
our house for generations.  It was over 200 yrs. old and was the first printing
in Europe in German. It weighed 15 kgs!  It said that God first made the whole
creation of earth, plants, animals, etc. and then He made the Human beings.
When He made the Human Beings He put His own breath in them.
This astonished me very much.  I asked my mother why God didn't put His
breath in the animals and everything else also, why only in the human beings?
My mother said, 'Because He knew that the Humans would forget it!'
We would forget that the breath is God's, that all have the same breath, and
that it is God's property."

     Today Swamiji said, " Some foreigners were here and talked about the yogis
in Samadhi, and asked me how they become breathless!!? I said, ' Ever since I
came to India, I have remained breathless!...  
 Because now I know who is breathing, God is breathing!!"

" Give thanks for your breath...and for that of the street dog!
I was just outside on the street, and this street dog comes sometimes
so I was feeding him a rusk, which he was eating happily.
Then a taxi came and stopped there and 6 people came out
to visit me. they were yoga students with a teacher.  They saw
me there and watched. Then the dog looked up and I asked the
students,' What is the dog saying?' They shook their heads and said,
Swamiji, we don't know what the dog is saying!' I said,  'The dog is saying,
'What a lucky Swami is this!!' "

Swami Jnanananda Giri ~ Beloved of the Beloved One,

  In the joy of your Self-Ecstasy is the deep experience of God communion.
He would then revel Himself to you in the form and in the formlessness of
your Inner Soul.
       He alone is ~ and the 'I' is melting away in the fires of devotion.  Egotism,
ignorance, and the darkness of sin and forgetfulness flee from the stage of
your world conception ~ thus revealing the pure soul of consciousness.
      Verily in the heart Thou  Art!  Self- illumined, self-contained,
at One with the Lord Supreme.
      Find him manifest in the bliss of your devotion, keeping His revealation
dear and secret to your heart ~ and infinite would be your Divine Realization!
      Your entire life would then become an awe-inspiring experience in the
joy of God!  An intensity of feeling ~ Bhavana ~ in love with God, draws you
inwards into spirit!
      Lord is ever with you.  Feel His presence within the most silent intimate
feelings of your heart.  Remember always ~ He is your very own and you are
His unto all eternity blessed.  Blessed indeed art Thou in the felicity of
self-ecstasy ~ par excellence!

Swamiji called!

                                               Swami Jnanananda Giri in Musoorie

      Swamiji called yesterday, I was sitting mid-day in the park!
There couldn't be a greater joy! He is blissfully well, as usual, and in
high spirits, as usual !!  Presently he asked if I was going to America
soon, I said I was going in Dec. for a month. That they called and
asked again, even arranged the ticket!! He laughed and asked , 'Why
doesn't America come to you?' I said,' They did come in Febuary,
and we all went to Banaras together. There I climbed the steps up
to the 'Yogiraj Tailang Swami Math'.
  Then Swamiji told me that Tailang Swami had said, "He who is a
real 'Yogi' is always aware of his 'breath', and the 'breath' of others!"
That includes everyone, no matter how far away they may be, even
if they are animals, trees, plants or stones! The Yogi is able to cure
all ailments. He can know all thoughts. Connected, he becomes
Limitless and Full!
     Swamiji said, "Awareness of the breath, constant awareness, is
very difficult.  No, actually, it is very easy. But nobody wants to do it! 
All are deluded by what they see and feel about this world, but, He is
free who can see through it, to its Source, the Way of Divine Light."
